About the job

As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer you will

  • Design, development, and optimization of computer vision algorithms for object detection, tracking, segmentation, etc.

  • Develop high-performance and scalable computer vision and perception algorithms.

  • Review developer’s code in the team to ensure the highest code quality.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including robotics and cloud software teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Mentor and guide a team of computer vision engineers.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in computer vision and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to improve our technology stack.

  • Work closely with the robotic software team to integrate vision systems into the robots.

  • Ensure the scalability and robustness of the computer vision solutions in real-world scenarios.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Vision & Perception, Robotics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in computer vision projects and teams, with a strong portfolio of successful deployments.

  • Minimum of 4 years of working experience in computer vision, machine learning, or a related field.

  • Deep understanding of computer vision algorithms, including object detection, tracking, segmentation, and SLAM.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and C++, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

  • Experience with Docker

  • Hands-on experience with deep learning training on GPUs

  • Experience with ROS is a plus.

  • Experience in training multi-modal architectures is a plus.

  • Experience with automating CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

  • Experience with embedded systems, particularly in robotics or automotive applications is a plus.

  • Knowledge of inference engines and optimization methods

  • Excellent communication skills.
